Nesco Resource is seeking a qualified, professional candidate to join their client in Bridgeport, CT, in the role of Service Writer.

About the Role

The role involves various responsibilities that require flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as the challenges will constantly change.

Responsibilities

1. Research part numbers and pricing for repair quotes
2. Manage customer requests via email/phone regarding service and repairs
3. Create repair quotes based on technician recommendations
4. Create and maintain pick lists, keeping one month ahead
5. Manage warranty claims with manufacturers, ensuring they are up to date
6. Work on call and dispatch technicians for emergency troubleshooting (if required)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service experience preferred
• ERP experience preferred
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced environment
• Experience researching parts and creating repair estimates required

Additional Details

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week. Normal working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility based on weekly needs. The role is eligible for benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
