Job summary

Genesis of Cary is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Full-Time Service Valet to join our team. You will greet guests, assist with check-in, park, retrieve, and stage vehicles, and help maintain a welcoming service drive and guest areas.

As a Service Valet, you’ll work closely with the Service team to ensure smooth vehicle flow, safe operations, and a high level of hospitality. Prior dealership or valet experience is a plus, but not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and motor vehicle record acceptable under Company standards.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• The ability to stay organized and attentive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Good judgment and awareness when working around moving vehicles and pedestrian traffic.
• The ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles; experience with manual transmissions is a plus.
• The ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles and remain active throughout the workday.
• The ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
• The ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet service guests promptly, professionally, and courteously upon arrival.
• Help direct guests to the appropriate Service Advisor or waiting area.
• Assist with basic check-in coordination and appointment verification.
• Safely park, retrieve, and stage guest vehicles.
• Help manage vehicle flow throughout the service drive and designated parking areas.
• Escort and assist guests as needed, including helping passengers enter or exit vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive, guest waiting areas, and loaner vehicles.
• Transport guests to and from approved destinations when providing shuttle service.
• Safely operate guest and dealership vehicles on dealership property and public roadways.
• Communicate vehicle, facility, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Assist Service Advisors and other dealership personnel with service-related operational needs.
• Follow all dealership safety and vehicle-handling procedures.
