Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a maintenance technician to assess, repair, and replace window components and related parts in customers' homes. You will troubleshoot hardware, sashes, caulking, and seals to ensure optimal function and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1+ year of maintenance and basic repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and provide reliable service in a field

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general maintenance experience required.
• 1+ year of basic home repair experience preferred.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri with one Saturday per month.
• Basic computer skills including smartphone and email.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on uneven surfaces.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle to transport materials.

Job description

Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world’s largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assessing, repairing, and replacing parts and components to fix any issues our customers are having with their windows.

- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace window components, door panels, and hardware, including sashes, door panels, hardware, operating mechanisms, caulking, adjusting product for better functionality, and trim replacement.

- Provide a high level of customer service and provide solutions for service issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in general maintenance

- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing basic home repair work, preferred

- Ability to work Monday-Friday. Must be available to work one Saturday per month

- Basic computer skills, including smart phone and email, and

- Physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders/scaffolding, stoop, bend and walk on uneven surfaces, and have good hand dexterity

- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a vehicle that can transport materials and tools such as a ladder and screen

- Ability to perform any other duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

- Competitive hourly rate starting at $24-$26.50/hour

- $500 vehicle allowance, gas card and toll tag

Schedule:
