Job summary

Renewal by Andersen Metro & Midwest is seeking a field installer to verify measurements at job sites and propose cost-effective window replacement solutions. You will use your carpentry experience to ensure quality installations and uphold company standards.

You will travel to appointments with your own vehicle, communicate clearly with customers, and document job details promptly. A knowledge of construction basics and tablet/computer tools is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous window installation and measurement experience required.
• 2–3 years of carpentry/finishing/remodeling experience with residential customers preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clear written documents.
• Must have a personal vehicle to go to appointments.
• Proficient with tablets and computers.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Visit jobs sold by the sales staff to verify accurate measurements and assessment of labor/materials
• Provide installation solutions that match our customer's expectations of a cost effective, installed, window replacement
• Recognize situations that would impact customer's expectations
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of construction basics and installation
• Understands and adheres to the established Renewal processes and standards
• Provide accurate measurements and documentation of job-related circumstances in a timely fashion
• Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and/or alternate installation techniques

Qualifications

• Previous window installation and measure experience, required
• 2-3 years of carpentry, finishing and/or remodeling experience with residential customers, preferred
• Strong communication skills; clear and readable written documents, and messages
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good organizational skillsStrong technical skills with tablets and computers

• $35/hourly pay plus bonus for total annual compensation up to $100,000
