Job summary

Mathews Brothers is seeking a Window & Door Service Technician to service homeowners and contractors across Greater Boston, Eastern MA and Northern RI. This is a field-based, year-round, full-time role with home-to-site dispatch and no office daily commute.

Earn $28–$34/hr plus overtime, with a company vehicle take-home and tools provided. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or installing windows and doors.
• Strong mechanical, carpentry, or field service skills (training provided).
• Ability to work independently in a local territory.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Comfort with basic computer reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix window and door issues for homeowners and contractors.
• Repair and replace hardware, weatherstripping, glass, screens, locks and balances.
• Complete warranty inspections and document your work.
• Explain products and fixes clearly to customers.

Mathews Brothers —Window & Door Service Technician – Greater Boston / Eastern MA / Northern RI

$28–$34/hr + overtime · Company vehicle · Full benefits · Year-round, full-time

We are seeking a technician who resides within our service territory, preferably in the Boston, Brockton, Framingham, Bellingham, Woonsocket area. This is a fully field-based role with no daily commute to a company office. Technicians dispatch directly from home to customer sites and return home each evening.

Mathews Brothers has built windows and doors in New England for more than 170 years. Our service techs are the face of that reputation with homeowners, builders and dealers.

What you'll do
