Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive electrical technician or trim and electrical technician.
• GM/Chevrolet dealership experience preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use GM service information.
• Experience with GM diagnostic equipment (GDS2, MDI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical concerns on GM vehicles.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using factory diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Repair and replace wiring harnesses, modules, sensors, and electrical components.
• Remove and reinstall dashboards, door panels, headliners, seats, consoles and other trim without damage.
• Perform infotainment, HVAC, airbags (SIR), power accessories and other electrical repairs.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
• Document repairs accurately and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work with service advisors and other technicians to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose and repair electrical concerns on Chevrolet and GM vehicles.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using factory diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Repair and replace wiring harnesses, modules, sensors, and electrical components.
• Remove and reinstall dashboards, door panels, headliners, seats, consoles, and other interior trim components without damage.
• Perform repairs related to infotainment systems, HVAC components, airbags (SIR), power accessories, and other electrical features.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
• Accurately document repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive trim and electrical technician.
• Previous GM/Chevrolet dealership experience is preferred.
• Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use GM service information.
• Experience with GDS2, MDI, and other GM diagnostic equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
