Job summary

Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick in Georgetown, TX is seeking a skilled automotive electrical technician with at least 3 years of experience. You will diagnose and repair electrical concerns on GM vehicles, using factory diagnostic equipment and service information.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an automotive electrical technician or trim and electrical technician.
GM/Chevrolet dealership experience preferred.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and use GM service information.
Experience with GM diagnostic equipment (GDS2, MDI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical concerns on GM vehicles.
Perform electrical troubleshooting using factory diagnostic equipment and service information.
Repair and replace wiring harnesses, modules, sensors, and electrical components.
Remove and reinstall dashboards, door panels, headliners, seats, consoles and other trim without damage.
Perform infotainment, HVAC, airbags (SIR), power accessories and other electrical repairs.
Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
Document repairs accurately and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Work with service advisors and other technicians to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
