Job summary

Acme Tools seeks a Service Technician in Eagan, MN to diagnose and repair motorized tools and power equipment. You will perform on-site service calls, communicate findings to customers, and conduct routine maintenance while keeping vehicles and work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in a hands-on repair environment.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
• Ability to cross-train in other repair areas and assist with items sold by Acme Tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair motorized power equipment and tools.
• Perform service calls on the road and communicate with customers about issues and maintenance.
• Perform routine engine maintenance and replace worn parts as needed.
• Keep tools, work areas, and service trucks clean and organized.
• Prioritize work during busy seasonal periods.
• Coordinate with Service Supervisor and Parts to ensure timely parts orders.
• Record inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.
• Assist as sales support when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report safety concerns.
• Complete related tasks as assigned.
