Job summary

Hyundai Motor America in Prescott, AZ is seeking experienced journeyman technicians to support our high-volume service department. We offer a competitive signing bonus for the right candidate and recognize the importance of veterans in this industry.

As a technician you will perform repairs per the repair order, test components, diagnose systems, and work closely with the Service Advisor to provide accurate estimates and timely service.

Qualifications

• Certifications and dealership experience required.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using service tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and AC systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications.

Responsibilities:
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:
• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record

Employment Position: Full Time
