Job summary

Findlay Volvo Cars Las Vegas is seeking experienced journeyman technicians to support a high-volume service department. We are offering a competitive signing bonus for the right person and value veterans in this industry.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair order, test-driving vehicles, diagnosing and repairing systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates. Certifications and prior dealer experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certifications and previous experience at an automotive dealership are required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and automobile insurance, with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes and HVAC.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates as needed.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
