Job summary

Findlay Auto Group in Utah's Saint George area is seeking experienced journeyman Technicians to support a high-volume service shop. We offer a competitive signing bonus for the right person and value veterans.

You will diagnose and repair automotive systems, test-drive vehicles, and work closely with Service Advisors to estimate time and scope of repairs. Must have dealership certifications, a valid in-state driver's license, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders efficiently per dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components with diagnostic tools
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, A/C and other systems
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional needed work and timelines
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
