Job summary

Findlay Volkswagen St. George in Utah is seeking experienced, journeyman technicians to support our booming service business. Join a high-volume shop with plenty of scheduling perks and opportunities for career growth.

You will diagnose and repair vehicle systems, conduct test drives, and communicate with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional work and timelines. We offer competitive compensation, paid vacations, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Certifications and prior dealership experience required.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and estimate repair times.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
