Job summary

Findlay Volvo Cars Las Vegas is seeking experienced journeyman technicians to support a high-volume service operation in Henderson, NV. The team focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles across engine, electrical, and chassis systems.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, A/C, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
