Job summary

Findlay Auto Group in Henderson, NV is seeking experienced journeyman technicians to support a high-volume service operation. The role offers a competitive signing bonus for the right candidate and a path for career growth within a large Southwest U.S.

automotive group. You will perform vehicle repairs, run diagnostic tests, and communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers about needed services and time estimates.

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and automobile insurance; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to assess components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding needed additional work and time estimates.
• Perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
