Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) in Oklahoma City/El Reno is seeking a Service Technician/Mechanic to support vocational and utility equipment. You’ll perform PMs, diagnostics, repair and inspections on truck-mounted utility gear, including boom/bucket trucks, diggers and cranes.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical training or military wheeled mechanic is a plus, valid driver’s license and your own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Vocational/technical training or military wheeled mechanic background a plus.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards within budget.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Ford.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel engines; hydraulics and electrical knowledge a plus.
• Perform maintenance/emergency repairs on fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems.
• Prepare and maintain records of parts, services and labor to track costs and reflect value of quality.
• Submit work orders to supervisor to ensure budgets are maintained and costs reflected.
• Follow best practices for a safe work environment and attend monthly safety meetings.

What you’ll work on

• PMs, diagnostics, repair & inspections
• Truck-mounted utility equipment: boom & bucket trucks, diggers, dump, service, forestry & aerial cranes

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, day shift (7:00am start)
• Overtime as needed

What you need

• Experience and / or Training on related equipment with heavy/light-duty trucks, diesel, refuse, construction / AG, aircraft / GSE
• Valid driver’s license & mechanic tools

• Perform all duties in in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
