Custom Truck One Source is hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment. You will work on diesel engines, chassis, hydraulics, and electrical systems across a range of medium to heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

The role includes diagnostics, PMs, inspections, and repairs on truck-mounted equipment such as boom and bucket trucks, diggers, and aerial cranes. A valid license and your own tools are required, with overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience or training on related equipment with heavy/light-duty trucks, diesel, or GSE.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a range of medium-to-heavy trucks.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair or replace worn parts on utility trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair Freightliner, Peterbilt, Ford and similar vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service records and costs for parts and labor.
• Attend safety meetings and work according to best practices.

Hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment.

What You’ll Work On

• PMs, diagnostics, repair & inspections
• Truck-mounted utility equipment: boom & bucket trucks, diggers, dump, service, forestry & aerial cranes

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, day shift (7:00am start)
• Overtime as needed

What You Need

• Experience and / or Training on related equipment with heavy/light-duty trucks, diesel, refuse, construction / AG, aircraft / GSE
• Valid driver’s license & mechanic tools

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards within budget, on a variety of vocational / utility trucks and equipment see https://www.customtruck.com/
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Ford.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel engines a strong background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.
• Perform maintenance/emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems.
• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.
• Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.
• Perform all duties in in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license
