Job summary

ServiceMaster Services in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a reliable Service Technician to maintain clean, safe environments across multiple facilities. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

You will train and motivate janitorial staff, inspect properties, and manage daily work orders while ensuring customer satisfaction. A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required; be able to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants and staff.
• Supervisor experience preferred to define expectations and train staff.
• Flexible with day-to-day responsibilities.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Physically able to stand for the full shift and perform tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle available during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide a clean, safe environment for multiple facilities.
• Train, develop and motivate janitorial staff.
• Manage customer work orders daily.
• Inspect properties to ensure cleanliness and safety; take corrective action.
• Cover cleaning positions for absent or vacationing employees.
