Job summary

ServiceMaster Services in Lynchburg is seeking a Service Technician to maintain clean, safe facilities during evenings. The role requires supervising and training staff, managing work orders, and inspecting sites for quality and safety.

You will work primarily M-F with some weekends, earning $17 per hour. A reliable vehicle is required for on-site commitments and transportation to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age: 18+ years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants and staff.
• Supervisor experience is preferred; you will define expectations and train staff.
• Education and work history demonstrating work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a team member.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, safe environment for occupants across facilities.
• Train, develop and motivate janitorial staff.
• Manage customer work orders daily.
• Inspect properties to ensure cleanliness and safety; take corrective action.
• Cover cleaning positions for absent or vacationing employees.
