Job summary

ServiceMaster Services is seeking a General Cleaner to provide janitorial services and supervision for client offices in the Richmond, VA area. This role involves weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 5:00pm (16 hours total), with pay at $15 per hour.

The position emphasizes independent work with a friendly, caring approach to clients, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a clean and safe facility. Authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum Age: 16+ years old.
• Education and work history demonstrating work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team.
• Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform tasks including walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide a clean, secure and safe environment for occupants of the facility.
• Perform cleaning tasks including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.
• Effectively and cost-efficiently execute the cleaning plan for the building.
• Work productively with ServiceMaster team members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to customer requests and concerns.
