General Services Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Richmond, VA to perform HVAC repair, installation, and related duties in apartment communities. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and timely handling of service requests.

Required are 3+ years in HVAC, plumbing, and basic carpentry/electrical work, EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, a valid license, and the ability to lift 100 lbs. A criminal background check and pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry and electrical skills.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience a plus.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
