Job Description

The selected candidate will assist with equipment installations and maintenance, including assembly, inspection, uncrating, and moving equipment into position. They will drive service and delivery trucks to deliver or pick up equipment using a lift-gate, and support other branch employees and service technicians as needed. Flexibility to work hours as required is essential.

Compensation: The pay rate depends on qualifications and experience, ranging from $26.00 to $35.20 per hour.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • High School diploma/GED or related experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work safely with mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Basic knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and electrical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
  • Knowledge of CO2 and Freon
  • Familiarity with moving tools and equipment
  • Customer service skills, including resolving issues and effective communication
  • Ability to manage expense reports and travel budgets
  • Willingness to become a Service/Repair Technician in the future
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with a ladder; working on roofs
  • Extensive driving (5-6 hours/day)
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • Ability to travel for overnight and multi-day assignments
