Job summary

Windsor Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II for Windsor Addison in Dallas, TX. You will perform maintenance across apartment units, common areas, and mechanical rooms, applying HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, painting, and carpentry skills.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily or related maintenance, familiarity with building safety systems, and must be available for rotating on-call and after-hours weekend emergency responses. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including fire systems.
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for records and work orders.
• Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and prevent issues in apartments and mechanical areas.

Responsibilities

Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II | Windsor Addison - Dallas, TX

This site is a mid-rise apartment style community with 438 units.

Summary:

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response.

Compensation:

Hourly: Starting at $21.02 - $27.06 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.

Annual Starting Comp: $43,721 - $56,284.

Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.

Requirements:

• Site specific certifications such as:
  • EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.
