SAM Service, Inc. seeks a Service Technician (Hot & Cold Side) for an in-person role in Jacksonville, FL. You’ll start each day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle and troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment using an iPad for work orders.

Join a team that values integrity and teamwork, with overtime and rotating on-call; EPA certification preferred but not required. Relocation assistance available if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair is required.
• Refrigeration/HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Comfort with tablets, smartphones, and other tech tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and random testing.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support.

What You’ll Do

• Start your day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle
• Get paid from the moment you start your engine (Port-to-Port Pay!)
• Use a company-provided iPad to manage work orders and documentation
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support
• Focus on service—not sales. Our office team handles quotes, parts, and billing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair (required)
