Job summary

SAM Service, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Service Technician (Hot & Cold Side) to troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.

You’ll start from home, drive a fully equipped company vehicle, and manage work orders on an iPad. We value hands-on problem solvers with strong technical skills, EPA certification preferred, and a willingness to work overtime on a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair is required.
• Refrigeration/HVAC experience; EPA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong technical and electrical skills; able to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and random testing.
• Curious mind and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Start your day from home with a company vehicle.

What You'll Do

• Start your day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle
• Get paid from the moment you start your engine (Port-to-Port Pay!)
• Use a company-provided iPad to manage work orders and documentation
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support
• Focus on service-not sales. Our office team handles quotes, parts, and billing

What We're Looking For

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair (required)
