Job summary

Gordie Boucher Lincoln of West Allis is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our high-volume service department. Experience with Lincoln/Ford is preferred but not required.

You will diagnose mechanical problems, test systems, and service vehicles following manufacturer recommendations. You will communicate with customers about issues and options, and stay current with best practices through workshops and classes, while upholding OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Own tools required and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills expected.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical problems.
• Testing parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Servicing vehicles in a timely manner in accordance with manufacturer and dealership recommendations.
• Communicating with customers about their vehicle issues, repairs, and options.
• Maintaining knowledge by attending workshops, seminars, or classes.
• Following OSHA safety standards.
