Job Summary

The Service Technician's primary role is to perform high-quality repairs on customer equipment and recommend additional services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from the Shop Foreman.
• Perform repairs efficiently and to high standards of workmanship.
• Advise the Shop Foreman of any recommended service changes or additional repairs.
• Maintain training and proficiency with specialized equipment and techniques.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Ensure accurate documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in medium/heavy truck repair.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• VA State Inspector certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain.
• Certifications in Paccar, Cummins, and CAT or willingness to obtain.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Ability to operate tools safely.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and comprehension.
