Job Summary

The primary function of the Service Technician is to perform high-quality repairs on customer equipment and recommend additional services as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Receive repair orders from the Shop Foreman.
  2. Perform work efficiently and thoroughly, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  3. Advise the Shop Foreman of any recommended changes or additional repairs.
  4. Maintain training on specialized equipment and techniques.
  5. Attend required training sessions.
  6. Perform repairs and address issues related to workmanship.
  7. Keep accurate records of work performed and time logged.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 3 years experience in medium/heavy truck repair and maintenance.
  2. Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
  3. VA State Inspector's certification or willingness to obtain.
  4. Valid Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain.
  5. Motivated, self-reliant, and team-oriented.
  6. Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
  7. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent.
  9. Ability to read and understand English instructions.
