Job summary

Wilde Subaru is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose vehicle concerns and perform repairs to dealership standards. Successful candidates will work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and will be part of a trusted Subaru dealership backed by Lithia & Driveway.

Training and ASE certifications are encouraged to maintain high-quality workmanship in a busy service bay.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive repair experience across engine, brake, steering, suspension, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Manufacturer-trained with the ability to diagnose and complete assigned repairs.
• Current manufacturer certifications in applicable repair categories.
• Minimum of one ASE certification required; ASE Master Technician certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs according to repair orders, manufacturer procedures, and dealership standards.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs are complete and accurate.
• Document diagnostic findings, test results, completed repairs, and technician time on every repair order.
• Maintain hand tools and return dealership-owned tools after use.
• Keep the service bay clean and organized; use shop supplies responsibly.
• Protect customer vehicles during the repair process and return them in original condition.
• Complete required technical training and maintain applicable manufacturer certifications.
• Communicate repair or safety concerns promptly and follow schedules and dealership procedures.
