Job summary

Suburban Subaru in Troy, MI is hiring a Quick Lube Technician to join our fast-paced service team. You’ll perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic inspections to keep our customers on the road.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of automotive repair experience or recently completed technical school, and can independently perform maintenance with quality workmanship. ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience.
• Recent technical school graduates.
• Ability to independently perform oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and basic diagnostics.
• ASE and/or Manufacturer certifications a plus.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
• Assist in other duties as assigned within Service Department.
