Job summary

DCH Toyota Scion of Oxnard, part of Lithia Motors, is hiring a Service Technician, Class C. You will diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles, document work, and ensure safety. The position offers a flat rate pay model of $20-$40 per hour and a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions.
• Complete work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures.
• Document all work and test procedures/results on the repair order.
• Return serviced vehicles to customers in the same condition as before service.
• Complete required training and maintain manufacturer/ASE certifications.
• Engage in and apply technical training as directed by management.
• Review technical bulletins and publications as assigned.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.
