DCH Honda of Oxnard is hiring a Service Technician Class B to diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles. You’ll follow Lithia standards, document procedures, and maintain safety and quality in every job.

The role requires relevant automotive experience, with opportunities to pursue manufacturer training and ASE certifications while earning on a flat-rate hourly pay model.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 18 years or older and legally eligible to work.
• Valid driver’s license in your state.
• ASE certifications and ongoing manufacturer training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and test drive to verify repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety rules.
• Document work performed and time spent using company procedures.

Dealership:L0715 DCH Honda of OxnardDCH Honda of OxnardNow Hiring - Service Technician Class BPay: $30-$55 Per Flat Rate Hour DOESchedule: Full TimeWhat You'll DoPerform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.Diagnose cause of malfunction.Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.Return special tools to proper place.Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.Complete all required training.Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.What You'll BringSense of urgencyCompetency: Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in the following areas with no supervision:Lube and Maintenance ServicesEngine RepairSuspension/Steering RepairBrake RepairElectrical/Electrical Systems RepairHeating and A/C RepairEngine Drivability Diagnosis and Repair (Optional)Automotive Technical Knowledge – Three to five years experienceAcceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.Total RewardsThis is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Production Productivity.The average monthly pay range for this position is $30-$55 Flat Rate Hours depending on experience.Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
