Job summary

Lithia Toyota of Springfield in Springfield, OR is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our award-winning service team. This on-site role inspects, maintains, and repairs vehicles, diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns while delivering quality workmanship.

The position reports to the Service Manager, offers a flat rate pay of $20-$35 per hour with potential production bonuses, and includes opportunities for manufacturer training and career

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in all areas.
• Desire to be part of a high-output team with safety focus.
• Able to handle high-volume demands and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete manufacturer-recommended services and maintenance procedures.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, service information systems, and repair manuals.
• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Stay current on Toyota technology, repair procedures, and industry advancements.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on exceptional customer service.
