Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a General Laborer to organize and present the outdoor trailer and product areas, unload freight, and assist with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.

The role includes assembling trailers, parking and moving trailers, washing and preparing trailers for delivery, and other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Available to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers.
• Park and move trailers.
• Wash and prep trailers for delivery.
• Assist customers with trailer hookups; perform visual safety checks (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.).
• Maintain lot: mow, weed, snow removal, trash pickup, install exterior signs, banners, or flags.
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Support Service Technicians as needed.
• Open and close the store as directed.
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The General Laborer is responsible for the organization and presentation of the outdoor trailer and product areas. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads, receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble trailers


• Park and move trailers


• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.


• Help customers hook-up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)


• Maintain lot including but not limited to mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.


• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.


• Support Service Technicians as needed.


• Support opening and closing of the store as directed.


• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.


• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)


• Valid Driver’s License


• Must be available to work Monday – Saturday and overtime as needed
