We’re looking for a motivated and trustworthy individual to join our team!

This full-time Utility Technician position offers variety, independence, and a chance to learn new skills in a family-oriented work environment.

February – September: Mosquito Route & Pest Route Support

• Drive a company vehicle to homes & businesses throughout Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas.
• Treat exterior areas for mosquitoes.
• When not servicing the mosquito route, fill in as a general pest technician
• Occasionally, help with termite or bed bug treatments or crawl space care.
• Enjoy a mix of independent work and team projects!
• Enjoy a FOUR-DAY WORK WEEK. Must be available Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 6 pm on a rotating schedule. Typically 1-2 Saturdays per month.

October – January: Christmas Decor Crew

• Install exterior and interior holiday decorations at homes and businesses.
• Preferably be comfortable working on roofs. But not required.
• Join a small team to bring holiday cheer across the community!
• 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. Overtime is often required during the peak holiday season.

Compensation:

$15 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, organize, and keep the company vehicle and equipment clean and in working order.
• Follow labels and application laws.
• Be willing and open to learning new things, and be adaptable.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications:

• A clean driving record is a MUST.
• Experience in pest or termite control, home service businesses, or sales is a plus, but not required.
• People skills — friendly and approachable, and able to communicate with customers and coworkers in a positive and professional manner
• Must be able to work outside in the elements and heat.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and be able to wear a backpack weighing 40-60 lbs.
