Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Window/Door Installation Service Technician to support installation and service work for our customers. You will join a team focused on delivering top-tier product experiences and handling installations, repairs, and customer interactions with professionalism.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in construction or home improvement, plus 2+ years of customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of construction or home improvement experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Prior experience servicing and repairing previously installed windows.
• Prior experience conducting technical measurements for installation.
• Renewal Window Installation experience strongly preferred.
• Must pass background check, pre-employment drug screen, and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action, and verify effectiveness.
• Install window and door replacements.
• Inventory service stock area of warehouse.
• Accurately measure dimensions and determine installation processes.
• Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations.
• Complete and submit required paperwork.
• Maintain professional image and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Window/Door Installation Service Technicians

provide superior field support to Renewal by Andersen Customers. Performing as a member of an installation and/or service team.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products
• Analyzes customer situations, determine corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation as efficiently and cost effective as possible
• Install window and door replacements
• Inventory service stock area of warehouse
• Accurately measure dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors
• Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations
• Complete and submit required paperwork
• Portray a professional image and provide a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 2yrs of Construction or Home Improvement Experience
• At least 2yrs of Customer Service Experience
• Prior Experience with Servicing and Repairing Previously Installed Windows
• Prior Experience with Conducting Technical Measures Required for Installation
• Renewal Window Installation Experience is Strongly Preferred
• Demonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach
• Ability to maintain perspective under demanding conditions
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills; strong listening and empathy skills; organization skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels

**Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check**

**Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record**
