Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 145-unit apartment community. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues, and provide proactive service to keep homes in excellent condition.

You’ll maintain interior and exterior areas to company standards, respond to service tickets promptly, and communicate clearly with residents and staff. A valid driver’s license and one year of related experience are preferred.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour


• Up to 50% Rent Discount


• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions


• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly


• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.


• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws


• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets


• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Paid rotating on-call participation required


• Must be available and prepared for emergency events


• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle


• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property


• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred


• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
