Morgan Properties in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the apartment community meets company standards and applicable laws. This full-time role focuses on maintaining systems and respond­ing to service requests with a “Whatever It Takes” attitude.

Expect hands-on work across HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, with a Monday–Friday schedule, rotating on-care duties, and readiness for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a \"Whatever It Takes\" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.


• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws


• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets


• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $18.00 – $20.00


• Up to 50% Rent Discount


• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions


• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly


• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday


• Paid rotating on-call participation required
