Job summary

LE014 Greenway Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain John Deere and outdoor power equipment. The role involves field service, evaluating technology offerings, and ensuring accurate documentation of work performed.

The position requires a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, familiarity with Service Advisor, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of, and experience with, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment.
• Experience using special tools and following technical manual procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with basic computer functions such as Service Advisor or equivalent computer‑based diagnostic tools.
• Positive attitude and a desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Mentor Service Technician Apprentices and junior Service Technicians.
