Job summary

Midwest Equipment Company in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an experienced Service Technician to service commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. The role offers a Monday-Friday daytime schedule, occasional overnight travel, and a company-provided van for travel.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in service tech, experience with refrigerants, a valid license, and a EPA Universal Card is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience.
• Experience with refrigerants strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is essential; commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus.
• Occasional overnight travel during the week.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent; EPA Universal Card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations.
• Maintain and repair equipment on-site with a focus on quality service.
• Be available for on-call rotations and communicate findings clearly to customers.
• Adhere to safety, regulatory, and company policies during service visits.

We're currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Mishawaka, Indiana. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get out of working in outdoor conditions or tired of crawling through attics, plus, we pay for driving time. Ideal Candidate:
