Job summary

Midwest Equipment Company in South Bend, Indiana seeks an experienced Service Technician to service commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. This role offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation every 5–6 weeks and a company vehicle provided for travel.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of service tech experience, are mechanically inclined, and have a valid driver's license. EPA Universal Card is a plus; relocation not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience.
• Experience working with refrigerants strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude a must, commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus.
• Occasional overnight travel during the week.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training and/or EPA Universal Card is a plus!

We're currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in South Bend, Indiana. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get out of working in outdoor conditions or tired of crawling through attics, plus, we pay for driving time.
