Job summary

Midwest Equipment Company in South Bend, Indiana is seeking an experienced Service Technician to service commercial soft‑serve equipment, grills and ovens at customer sites. This is a daytime, on‑site role with occasional travel and a company van provided from home.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of service technician experience, experience with refrigerants is preferred, and a strong mechanical aptitude. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; EPA Universal Card is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of service technician experience.
• Experience with refrigerants strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude required; commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel overnight occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent; EPA Universal Card a plus.

We're currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in South Bend, Indiana. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get out of working in outdoor conditions or tired of crawling through attics, plus, we pay for driving time. Ideal Candidate:
