Job summary

RPC Company is seeking a hands-on Service Technician for a full-time, onsite position focused on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial equipment. This direct-hire role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems, with readouts from schematics.

Some travel may be required for training or support at other service locations.

Full-Time | Onsite Daily | Hourly + 1.5x Overtime

We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a global industrial equipment organization. This is an onsite, hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-delivery equipment inspections
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, and mechanical systems
• Identify equipment failures, determine root causes, and complete necessary repairs
• Maintain accurate service documentation and follow established safety/PPE procedures
• Work independently while supporting a fast-paced service operation

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on equipment repair experience
• Experience with industrial/commercial fluid power and low-voltage electrical control systems
• 2–5+ years of experience preferred, with opportunities for more senior-level technicians
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and powertrain components
• Basic computer skills and ability to read schematics
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must have personal hand tools and be willing to complete required technical and safety training
• Some travel may be required for training or support at other service locations

This is a direct-hire, full-time position paid hourly with overtime at 1.5x. The position is onsite daily.
