AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Service Technician to support client locations with vending and merchandising equipment. The role requires flexible hours and may include weekends, with pre-employment DOT considerations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous experience repairing automated vending/merchandising equipment or small appliances is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude; ability to diagnose and repair effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment.
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment.
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.

• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
