Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Service Technician to install, educate and repair vending and merchandising equipment at client locations across a designated area. You will build relationships with customers and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude is required.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make repairs on vending/merchandising equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL not required.

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs
• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
