Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Service Technician to install, educate, test, and service vending and merchandising equipment for client locations.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, remove outdated gear, and build strong client relationships while handling parts orders and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong mechanical and technical aptitude to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform appropriate repairs on vending systems.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Capability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within an assigned area.
• Educate clients on proper operation of new equipment.
• Execute minor repairs on vending and merchandising equipment.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on vending/merchandise gear.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and customers.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team Member to fill the role of Service Technician.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs
• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
