Job summary

DistributionNOW seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site service and customer support across field sites. You will tie workflow to the schedule, manage installation, repair and test tasks, diagnose issues, and produce detailed service reports while documenting processes and using field automation systems.

The role requires a High School diploma, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Assembly experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and read basic materials.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities for equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma and/or equivalent in work experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications
• Assembly experience preferred
• Basic reading skills
• Must be able to follow directions
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
