Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Bridgewater, MA team. You will perform propane service, tank installations, and inspections at customer sites, with on-call rotation during evenings and weekends.

Cross-training may support propane deliveries, and you will work closely with management, dispatch, and field staff. The role emphasizes safety, reliable customer service, and proactive communication while maintaining high service standards in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 2–3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or GED required
• CDL class A or B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Prepare spare tanks for service and perform tank maintenance
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations
• Support bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Communicate with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Bridgewater, MA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. Primary duties include:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL class A or B with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred

Supplemental Pay:

Quarterly Safety Bonuses

The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $35 per hour.
