Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team and support propane service, tank installation, leak checks, and on-call response. You will coordinate with the Service Manager and customers to ensure safe, reliable fuel delivery and responsive maintenance.

A valid MA gas fitter license is required; CDL may be needed; prior HVAC experience is a plus. We offer a safety-focused workplace with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive

Qualifications

• MA Gas Fitter's license required.
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment.
• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Legal Authorization to work in the US; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prep spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

What you’ll do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Will be cross trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• MA Gas Fitter's license required
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
