NuTek Machinery LLC is seeking a field-based technician to travel extensively across North America, performing on-site servicing of industrial machinery at customer locations. The role involves multi-day to multi-week trips, with hands-on electrical and mechanical tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, PLCs and inverters, and a strong focus on safety while servicing woodworking equipment and electrical panels.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electrical / wiring schematics.
• Experience with PLC, VFD, and inverters.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.
• Customer-facing field service experience.

Responsabilités

• Travel to and work on-site at customer locations for extended periods (multi-day to multi-week trips).
• Lift and carry parts and tools up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Stand, kneel, bend, and reach while servicing machinery.
• Work safely around industrial woodworking equipment and electrical panels.

Travel & Time Away

This is a field-based role: most of the work is on-site at customer locations across North America, so travel is frequent and central to the job — not occasional. Trips can run long, from a few days to a week or more for an installation, and trade-show assignments can run several weeks at a time. We will go over what the travel schedule typically looks like during the interview.
