Job description

Dormakaba is seeking a full-time, second shift (2:00pm-11:00pm) Service Technician to fill a remote position based in the Austin, TX area. The Service Technician is responsible for installing door hardware and access control systems keeping our most important buildings safe and secure.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $20/hr - $40/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings
• Project a strong customer service image through professional presentation and communication with all customers
• Communicate with Sales and Service management about customer concerns and sales opportunities

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Willingness to travel
• Valid current driver’s license
• 1-3 years of mechanical experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift objects up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a construction/building environment
• Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background
